Is Fort Salonga part of Northport?
I am never sure of this. Is Fort Salonga part of Northport? If you wanted to look for a home in Fort Salonga, how would you search?
And where in Northport would you find the largest lots? Would that be Fort Salonga?
I am trying to acquaint myself with the area. Thanks

Fort Salonga is kind of between Northport and Kings Park. It is very expensive, but very beautiful.

Re: Is Fort Salonga part of Northport?
Thanks for your reply. I see on the MLS that some have Northport schools and some have Kings Park schools.
Still tryin to do more research.
So is Fort Salonga part of Northport, Huntington, or Smithtown? This confuses me.
Can anyone explain the breakdown to me? We visited the area on Saturday, ate at Sweet Mama's and had such a nice time, we would like to know more about the area.
thanks

Ok I think I get it, as per Wikipedia.
The part that falls under Huntington uses the Northport schools. And the part that falls under Smithtown uses the Kings Park schools.
I think I understand now. Thanks!

That's exactly how it works. I beleive that all of Ft. Salonga is zoned 1 acre.

Bread and Cheese is the divider, basically. One side isTown of Hunt, , the other is Town of Smithtown. Fort Salonga, Ashroken, Eatons Neck are all 11768 Northport zip codes.
