i'm 5dpo and still have zero cm????
Does anyone know?

I THOUGHT CM was there to help sperm while ovulating.
So, SHOULDENT there only be CM while ovulating, and never another time?

thats what i thought too. but the OP said "still"no cm, so does that mean you didnt have (or notice) any during your o day?

Nope. CM is not really necessary after you O. Its only needed when you are about to O since it creates a "safe" environment for the sperm to live in until the egg arrives.

I THINK the OP may have been referring to what some have seen come out after what they believed to be implantation. 
As for CM, there is excess throughout pregnancy, but I just forgot how much, if any, during the 2ww.

sorry for the confusion, i haven't had any since the day of my smiley..but i just assumed that it was a good thing to have it again in the 2ww if pregnant because when i was reading symptons on twoweekwait.com..many people talk about having an abundance of CM, and they list it as early sign of pregnancy...so i just assumed its best to have it.

i did not have an abundance of CM after I O'd on the cycle I got a BFP... BUT I did have one like wipe that had a wad of CM on the TP. That was it. And it happened both times I got pregnant. BUT it did not happen befpre 5dpo... I'd say it was more like around 7 dpo or so... not later than 9dpo... it happened right with implantation.
some people don't get any of that at all. so it's not necessarily a bad sign to not have it.

I didn't have any noticeable CM before my bfp.
As a side note: I used to read on twoweekwait.com, but it would drive me crazy. Some of the symptoms the women had were so specific or so rare. Like if their big toe was noticably itchy they would note it as if it meant something (I'm exaggerating, but seriously, it's not that far off from actual things women wrote on there).The truth is, most people don't get SUPER obvious symptoms.

I never had any noticeable cm with either times I got pregnant. I thought something was wrong and I wouldn't get pregnant because of that.

i get cm only 2-3 days before i O but once i hit 1 or 2 dpo, i'm dry as a bone  lol sorry tmi haha

I've had what feels more than usual. I could mean something, it could mean nothing, I could be making it up, b/c I am 11 DPO and am losing it! Feeling some definite low lying, AF type cramps. I cramped a lot through my PG w/ DS, so I am hoping they are NOT AF cramps come early. It feels too early, but you just never know.
When are you going to test? Sounds like you have some promising symptoms!

I have a ton of cheapo Wonfo's, so i'm testing on Friday...even if i am preggo, it probably won't show until Sat.or Sun., but i am a POAS ADDICT. In Feb. when i got my BFP, i wrote down my symptons (even though they weren't major), but one of the sympons was food repeating on me, and that's been happening all day! So i am feeling a little hopeful. Either way,i can't wait to just find out on way or the other..i hate not knowing!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want you to test!!!
When are you going to test? Sounds like you have some promising symptoms!
