Is it a bad thing that all of a sudden my 7 month old DD does not wanna nap during the day?

She rarely takes naps anymore and if she does its only for about 30 mins to an hour Once maybe twice a day.....She does however sleep all night, going to bed anywhere between 830 and 10 (depending on her fussiness) and sleeps until we have to wake her up at 630am to take her to the babysitters (on weekends she sleeps until 8 or 9 am)

So is it a big issue that she doesnt wanna nap anymore and would rather just crawl all over the house?

My DD is a MONSTER if she doesn't nap for too long, so for me, YES it's a bad thing. And she fights naps unless she's going through a growth spurt.

But if your DD's mood is okay I guess it's not a problem. I think I've read that some children drop a nap around this age, but I'm not sure.

DS is a very unpredictable napper. For months I was lucky to get 45 minutes 2x a day. But he sleeps through the night 9-7 and generally isn’t cranky if he doesn’t nap. Then around 8 months he started napping 2x for 90 minutes each. I say just keep putting her down, and follow her cues. I will say if he wakes up 40 minutes in (or less) I try to rock him back, sometimes it work, others it doesn’t but it is worth the try. What I have learned is that I can’t force DS to nap so I have no choice but to try and let him dictate how long its for – and I don’t stress out over it anymore.

I can't remember at what age - but my DD just stopped taking naps during the day. We noticed when she didn't have them - she was sleeping better at night.
So just has been napless for a long time now
