Is it a big deal that I have a Toddler Bundle me for my newborn?

I just put the thing in the car seat, and was thinking "this thing is really big!" Chat Icon And then I looked at the package says Toddler 1-3....

Should I return it? Or do you think its ok?

I think it depends on the car seat? The infant one fits the infant car seat perfectly (well, the Graco I have anyway) so you may be better off returning it. Either that or save the toddler one for when she's in the stroller.

Ugh....You're right - I should just keep this one and save it and buy another one.

Personally I don't think anything should be between the baby and the carseat -- the baby won't be strapped in as tight.

Check out the Nojo Car Seat Covers:

They just go over the seat. Or a good ole blanket!

The Infant Bundle should be used just for the stroller on walks outside imho.

Thanks, but there is nothing between the baby and the carseat except the bundleme which is the same exact thing as having the lining of the carseat in there. I took out the lining of the carseat and put in the bundle me. It has the same holes for the straps, etc...

Have you had that checkout at a inspection station?? I've never heard of removing the lining like you describe.

It's the exact same thing if you removed the lining to wash it and put it back on.

It really has nothing to do with the installation of the seat.

Maybe your carseat is very different than mine. In my snugride the lining attaches all around the top -- taking it out to wash is not an easy task -- so it wouldn't be the same. Maybe your carseat is different.

Forgive my unsolicitated opinion here -- carseat safety is a soft spot for me, so I have trouble keeping my mouth shut!

Your opinions are definitely welcome, so thank you for expressing yourself!

Like the PP said, the lining of the Graco snugride, easily comes off and is machine washable. Using the bundle me has no effect onthe saftey of the carseat as it does not interfere with the function of it at all.

Wasn't there an issue that the Bundle Me isn't fire retardent? So in case of an accident it could catch on fire and your baby would be strapped into it?

Does anyone know if they make the covers (not the bundle me) for convertible seats?
