Those who have the newborn to toddler rocker....please answer a question for me...

I know there was a product rave for this product, my question is does your DC try to get "up" out of it. My dd is almost 7 mos. and we have a small travel swing fisher price (no tray in front) and she tries to get out and sits upright, and it looks like she can tip out of it. I want to get her something else to use while she is at work with me, I just don't want to waste $$. T.I.A.

I have that chair and love it..My girls are 13 months and still use it. Their is no way for them to get out of it if they are strapped in. I have used that rocker to feed them, they watch their little einstiens in it.

My boys LOVE this and it is a LIFESAVER!!!!
I use it for feedings as well as when they are wtaching t.v.
Like Stephanie said if they are strapped in, they cant get out.

My boys will sometimes try to get out only if they are tired or get bored of watching t.v.

Do you use this instead of the bouncy? In addition to? Trying to justify getting yet another "seat" for DD Chat Icon

My son is 17 months old and I still use this chair while I'm taking my shower. He can not get out of it although he has tried.

Ditto, we still use ours (lifesavers!) and although they sit up in them they have never tipped over.

Haley can wiggle her way out if she has a piece of furniture next to her to lean on, but she rarely does that.

Once Noah started to try to get up out of it, it went into the attic.

He started walking really early, so we just didn't need it anymore.

Ethan is 8 months and sits straight up in it when he gets antsy. Yesterday I left the room for a minute and came back in to find him comepletely bent forward reaching for a toy. I had a heart attack thinking he could have flipped over so I decided to test it....it wouldn't flip!

I have it and I hate it and so does Andrew. It is a little too boring IMOChat Icon And I find it larger then any other bouncer.

James loves his. If he tries to get out of it, I take it as a hint that he's had enough and take him out! Chat Icon

I have to admit, I didn't like our either, it was good for a while, but once he could sit up...well, it was too dangerous for my liking...and it SQUEAKED

Brendan loved this chair! it was a lifesaver! i put it away when he started sitting up though because he fell out of it once and he was always trying to hang over the sides. I might try to take it out again soon now that he is a little bit older.

We have it but we only used it for the rocker part, so she started using it around 1. She loves to sit in it with books and "read" them to me. She climbs in and out of it a few times a day.

We have one in the box for Andy when he's ready to use the rocker part too.

I just bought it last weekend and DD will be 1 year old on April 9th. There is no way for her to get out of it or tip it over. I too was looking for something else other then the swing. She sits forward in the swing as well but I highly doubt that will flip over as well b/c it is so low to the ground. The chair can be used up to 40 lbs.

Steven LOVES his seat. Sometimes he lifts his behind, signaling that he wants to be picked up. But, he oculdn't get out of it and there is no way it could tip over. also, the back can recline or go straight up and it goes up pretty far so they are almost sitting upright.
