is it bad that instead of going out to dinner on 2/14....
I've just cancelled our reservations..... becuase instead, I spent the $$ buying us a good cappuccino machine  
I saw a saeco cappuccino machine on sale on smartbargains for pretty much half price  I know DH will LOVE it  (he's all about coffee). but we can't afford to spend $150 on dinner, and another $160 on a coffee maker.....
I hope cupid doesn't punish me for this

Since your DH will love it, then no. If he didn't like coffee and you cancelled dinner, then yes. You're safe!

You know we're in a recession when saeco is so steeply discounted  I couldn't resist 50% off
I know he'll love it... I hope he doesn't mind dining-in
