I have forced hot air heat & the dust is REDICULOUS!! Just call my house the "Bunny Ranch" cause theres dust bunnies running rampid.
Needless to say- I attribute the dust problem to the heating..not the cleaning lady ie. ME.

Yes its defin not your fault, that is why my first response was what heat do you have. Forced hot air is rough with dust, as is oil heat as well.

If you figure it out, let me know - I swiffer and steam mop and in 20 minutes I have dust again

If you find the solution you can make MILLIONS. I dust, see all the dust flying around, then vacuum. Within 10 minutes the dust is back where it was before I dusted and vacuumed. What's the point?

same here! But just think, if it were carpeting, all of that dust that we clean everyday would be hiding in the carpet!

It's crazy....DH uses the Swifter and vacuums & then has this cool dust mop & still 5 minutes later there's dust. It doesn't help that our door leads directly into the living/dining room w/ hardwood.

I use the swiffer vacuum daily. It never ends. Dust is my enemy.

ok, I am not alone! I feel so dirty when I pick up my daughter crawling on the floor.
I have forced air. Great, so this is a lifetime of a problem.
