Is it likely i am going to loose my baby?

Well, i went to my ob yesterday and thought i would post on here to see if anyone has been through this and what happened?
My baby is measuring a full week behind,i am almost 8 weeks...they also told me the heart rate is slow at 115...told me to prepare myself..it is tough to even wrap myself around this..i have a follow up next week..
Has anyone had this happen? Any thoughts?

I'm sorry you had such a bad appt. Try not to lose hope. There is a heartbeat so that is good! I never got as far as hearing a heartbeat do I don't know but try to remain positive

Dont lose hope, 115 is a good heartbeat. My Dr told me at the beginning of my pregnancy with my 2nd child that anything over 100 is what they look for

Dont loose hope is right..Pray. The heartbeat can get stronger...sometimes they have to make you aware of the possibilities..

I wouldn't get worried yet. The heartrate is not the low...especially if you are measuring a week behind. Sometime Dr's are wrong with measurement and HB... SO please do not get upset yet!! Many girls measure a week behind or ahead...and things often work out.

Dont lose hope. I agree with all the ladies. Having a heartbeat is a good sign. Praying for you.

Honestly... I'm with the girls. Don't lose hope.

I had a heartbeat that was fine (or at least the doctor didn't say it wasn't) and miscarried a week later. You never know how it's going to go. So long as you have a heartbeat that's over a certain number then you are OK. So keep the hope alive.

Just curious.... is the baby measuring a week behind because their is a date mixup?? Is that possible??

MrsK is right. Sometimes you can ovulate later than expected. My friends baby was measuring a week late and the baby was healthy. Hang in there

I know it might be difficult but try and stay positive. Lots of hugs and strength

I wish you the best of luck!! I hope everything works out. I think the fact that you have a heartbeat is a really good sign.

I know it must be hard but try to stay positive! A HB of over 100 is a usually a good thing!

Hi Everyone, thanks, things have been horrible lately...i have a hematoma above the gestational sac and now i am bleeding pounds of blood..still a heart beat two days ago and the baby caught up in growth but i am miserable..all this blood is horrible..was told it might resolve itself or i will miscarry...
