DD isn't tall (26 inches) but I can't imagine her legs having enough room without being bent uncomfortably in the rear seat, as she grows.

Is this the way they are supposed to sit (legs bent at the knee) in the convertible seat? Did anyone else notice this?

I just turned DD around today, she was one on Saturday and she is huge. Her legs were very bent but the Ped said do not turn her early evern though she is huge. I actually had to take her shoes off the other day to get her inChat Icon

Ds is 31" and is still rear facing. I was told it was safest and after lots of research I decided not to switch him at a year. He is almost 16 months and I just bend his legs when I put him in. He doesn't care or complain. He just sits there singing to the music and reading his book.

The latest recommendations are to keep DC rear-facing until 2 years old. There is nothing wrong with their legs being bent. As long as they can safely be strapped in, they are fine.
