Is it normal to have the chills during pregnancy?
I'm 8 weeks today and been having the chills for over a week. At first I didn't think anything of it, but now that it's not going away I'm starting to get concerned.
I have no fever, and don't feel sick in any way. I am having some backache though.
I have an appt with my primary dr this afternoon, but wanted to hear from you ladies if this could be a pregnancy symptom.
Thanks

Re: Is it normal to have the chills during pregnancy?
I am a bit over 5 weeks and I've been freezing too! I also don't feel sick at all otherwise. Last night I was under my down comforter shivering worse than I do in the winter. Right now I have a hoodie over my thank top and I'm still chilly. I would definitely run this by your doctor to be safe but I can tell you I've been cold since I got my bfp last Thursday.

I had that in the first trimester too. It's good that you're going to the dr., just to rule anything else out, but for me it was just the fluctuating hormones.

Re: Is it normal to have the chills during pregnancy?
Well my dr checked my urine and said there was no sign of infection. He pretty much checked everything...ears, throat, blood pressure, temperature, etc...and said everything looked ok
He thinks it could just be related to the pregnancy hormones. So I hope that's all it is!
