my dd is almost 7 months old and i was wondering can i leave toys in her crib so if she wakes up she can entertain herself. If yes what kind of toys?

DD is almost 6 months old and I leave two dolls in her crib. But nothing with little pieces that can come off.

I have soft toys in his crib butI am considering putting the aquarium back in there.
and I also have a blanket for naps. He still wears the sleep sack for overnight but as it gets warmer I'll just giv ehim the blanket

Re: is it ok to leave toys in the crib
It's safe enough to do that (as long as they are age-appropriate toys), but we tried not to have any toys in the crib for our DC because we wanted to keep the bed as a place for sleeping, not playing (or punishment).

we have toys in DD's crib.... when she wakes up- she plays a little- about 10 minutes- it is adorable to hear her over the monitor.
