Is it okay to use a bumbo seat at 11 weeks old?

MY DD is going through a phase right now and she doesn't want to be laying down, she constantly wants to sit up and tries to do it herself. She is also teething as well. My DH busted out the Bumbo seat yesturday but it says ages 3 months on it. Has anyone used it earlier? DD can hold her head up pretty well but I wouldn't say 100%. She seemed okay in it but it made me nervous that she would strain herself so me and DH were arguing about if its ok or not. TIA

I would wait until she can hold her head up fully. You don't want her to strain her little neck or cause any damage

Thats what i told DH and he got upset that I was questioning him

I started at 1 month old but my girls came out holding their heads up. They weren't wobbly at all. I would wait until she has full head control.

They should have head AND trunk control IMO.

On the bumbo box it states 3 month...and that is what I did...
