Is it possible for a 23 month old to only need 8-9 hours of sleep all day??
DD RARELY naps at all and she just went to sleep now and its 12:30am and she has been up since 8am and she will be up by 8am tomorrow
how is this possible??I am sooooo tired and all she does is run around like a nut at night
and I dont give her juice anymore or much sugar really.......what else can I do to make her sleep early??

Is she happy all day? Is she easygoing? Otherwise I think she may not be getting enough sleep. You know your own child best, but most experts say they need more sleep than that.
My ds did not need naps after age two, but he did sleep 14 hrs at night. He was happy all day.

seriously, this is josh.
he's very mellow at home...not a crier or whiner...keeps himself entertained.
when we are out he plays and runs...
he eats....
just doesn't need sleep.
maybe 2 or 3 times a week he will take a 2 hour nap.
yesterday, woke at 8 AM...no nap, up till after 11. woke at 8 today.
I just say over and over again get to bed. he just sits and sings...talks...sits in the doorway staring at us.
