Is it possible that my baby is growing too fast???
She's 8 weeks and wearing Carter's 6 month clothes. She's 14 lbs already.
I don't think she's fat, she's long and solid. And I'm BFing, so I don't know how she can be so big so fast.
Anyone else in this situation??

My BFF's DD wore 24mo when she was 6 mo old... some babies are just bigger, but if you're concerend you should ask at her next well baby visit. HTH

my dd is long but not chunky, but people think she is b/c of her chipmunk cheeks. pants are a pain to find that fit her, everything looks like nickers.

DS was 14 1/2 lbs on his 2 month birthday..he was 7lbs 11oz at birth...some babies just grow faster than others..no worries mommy.

ITA. My DS's weight gain went off the charts when he was 11wks old and stayed that way. He was born 7 lbs 1 oz.
Look at it as a good sign that your BM is doing it's job and that you don't have to worry that your DC is eating enough

DS was wearing Carter's 6 months at that age too, more for length than anything. I wouldnt worry

Like everyone said, all babies grow at a different rate. It will probably all even out as she gets older.

Don't worry! You're doing a great job! My baby came home from the hospital in 6-9 month clothes and at 5 months is wearing some 12 and 18 month clothes (If they snap between the legs because his torso has outgrown everything, but his legs are still short.). Dr. says he's fine. SOme babies just grow faster. It's fun to see!
