is it possible to buy car seat covers?
I bought a convertible car seat many months ago...but now that I took it out and looked at it again I'm not thrilled with the fabric. I wish I had gotten a more plush fabric. do they sell replacement covers? I have the safety 1st Alpha Omega

You can call Safety 1st and ask them if they sell a cover that is plusher but aftermarket covers are not advisable.

but if I get it from them for the same model it's ok right? bc it would be like taking it off to wash it and putting it back right? I think maybe thats why I don't like mine...I washed it and it looks blah now.

Yes, if you get it from them it should be fine. I have extra covers for our seats that I obtained from the manufacturer. Some companies charge a lot for them, some don't. It's a LIFESAVER having them.

I'm actually doing exactly that with my Chicco carseat. I'm getting a new cover from Chicco directly - for the same seat, it's just a completely different pattern since this baby is the opposite sex.
Call up Safety 1st and ask them

wahhhh of course the one I bought only has 2 drab color choices  I shouldn't have rushed to buy one...oh well at least it was a great price ...and the cover isn't THAT bad...it's just kind of blah.
