Is it possible to get a BFN then a BFP?
I've been using the dollar store and the digital ones, but I've heard that they are not a sensitive as the FRER.
Is it possible to get a BFN with one HPT but then get a BFP with a different brand of HPT? Or am I totally crazy?

yea it can definitely happen...
it actually happened to me when i was pregnant ...i took the FRER and got a BFP.. and i took a dollar tree the next day and it was as BFN...
how many DPO are you?

ETA: which makes me think that even if it's not a sensitive I should have gotten a BFP already if I WAS pregnant

you could have O'ed later than you thought..
unless you "knew" exactly when you did O.

I've never been this long. I wish AF would just show up already so I can get back to CD1. But I really wish I would get a BFP, but have a feeling it's not going to happen

since you say its usually not this long...i would think you O'ed late... but its wierd that you dont normally have cycles this long. ....so its a possibility

I've never been this long. I wish AF would just show up already so I can get back to CD1. But I really wish I would get a BFP, but have a feeling it's not going to happen
I just went through this exact thing. I was super late and kept getting negative tests, I finally got AF this morning at CD37, which is the longest I've ever gone in my life.

 I'm living proof it can happen...here's a run down of the last 3wks......
1 day late BFN
2days late 2 BFN's
1wk late 4BFN's
9days late blood test confirmes BFN
16days late....BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took being 2.5wks late to get my bfp. You know your body....if this isn't normal then test every few days unless af comes and DO NOT believe 1 blood test of neg means you're not pg. I'm proof it can take a few days more

unfortunately, what maybeamommy said is VERY true.
What happened with Medic is the exception to the rule...it's not the rule by any means...
Nferrandi is the example of it going the other way - she was VERY late - kept getting BFN's and today - AF arrived..
Please be careful - getting your hopes up so high can be DEVESTATING whenTBAF does show...we all know that far too well...

i say that anything can happen and dont give up! of course you dont have to get your hopes up...but our bodies are all so different and there is no way of knowing what can happen until AF arrives

I totally have a feeling that AF is going to show up, but I still like to hold onto that little glimmer of hope that I *might* be pregnant.
I'm just getting antsy now, if AF is going to show I wish she would just show up. I'm sick of feeling crampy and nasty for the last 3 weeks, and not to mention the sooner AF is over the quicker DH and I can start BDing

all home pregnancy tests have different sensitivities..one can be at 10hgc another at 20...25...i got my BFP on a dollar store test...but each stick is different
