Is it possible to have MMR shot symptoms 5 weeks later?
So I was going to respond to Xelindrya that DS had the MMR in the middle of July and never got a fever. As I was going back to add and he also never got a rash...but I realized that when we went on vacation in the middle of August, DS broke out in a rash all over his body in the bahamas!! We thought maybe it was the sunscreen (even though it was the one we always used) or maybe a heat rash. Now I am wondering if it was a reaction to the MMR. I am calling his ped now but was wondering if anyones elses DC also had a reaction to the MMR vaccine 5 weeks after giving it?

My ped said 1-2 weeks...However, it could have been roseola. Sounds just like what my dcs had this spring!

i would doubt it since docs say the reaction would be like 7-10 days after. that's 35 days. it's probably something unrelated like the sunscreen.
hope he's feeling better!

thanks guys...I spoke to the nurse at my peds office and she said, yes, it could possibly be a reaction but its nothing to worry about (since I am pregnant) as long as I dont get a rash or anything.
