Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - SECOND UPDATE!
I'm pretty sure I O'ed on Sept 1st, which would put me at 13 DPO. I could be off by a day though. I'm expecting AF tomorrow. I've had literally 0 symptoms of pregnancy or AF up until today.
This afternoon I went to the bathroom and I had bright red spotting when I wiped, followed by AF like cramps. At this point I'm sure AF is coming so I put a tampon in. At 3:30 I go back to the bathroom (been having light AF cramps since I started spotting), pull the tampon out and there is very very little on there, but what is there is actually brown. Nothing when I wipe now.
I'm still pretty sure AF is coming because the cramping has gotten worse and I'm due tomorrow, but I'm also wondering if I could be implanting late. Is it even possible to implant at 13DPO? With DS I implanted somewhere between 6DPO and 9DPO with a BFP at 11DPO. So I feel like this is pretty late for it to be anything but AF.
UPDATE 9/16: Yesterday I got the faintest BFP on an FRER. Since it was so light I decided to test again when I woke up around 2AM. Again, a faint (but more noticeable line than the first test) BFP!! I was so thrilled that I woke DH up to tell him.
Well, this morning I started bleeding. Not spotting. It was dark red and pretty heavy. I have horrible cramping, much worse than AF, and I'm deciding if I should just go home from work and try to sleep some of it off. I feel terrible. I haven't taken another test yet, but I'm fairly certain I'm having a chemical pregnancy I'm heartbroken. Just last night I was so excited to see the BFP only to wake up this morning to this.
Should I be calling my doctor for blood work? And for those of you who have been through this before, how long did you bleed?

I believe it's unlikely to implant at 13 dpo. But if you o'ed later than you originally thought, I think you have a chance.

Unless you have been temping and know for sure you O'd on the 1st, I think its very possible you O'd late. Don't count yourself out yet!

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO?
Thanks ladies! I have not been temping and I had bad O pains 2 - 3 days after I got a + OPK, so it's definitely possible that I am off by a few days.
I've had bad AF-like cramps since yesterday afternoon, but still no AF. Bright pink spotting (very little) only when I wipe. I tested this morning on a dollar store test with FMU but it was a BFN. I guess I'll just wait and see if AF decides to show up or not.

its possible. But from my experience, all of those symptoms that late into my cycle turned out to be AF

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - UPDATE
I've had three chemicals. If you're already bleeding I'd say there's no point in blood work. For me, bleeding lasted as long as a normal period. If i hadn't tested I wouldn't have thought anything was different. So sorry you are going through this.

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - UPDATE
Oh no, I am so sorry!
I have had two chemicals. I bled for the length of a normal period. Maybe it was a touch heavier than normal. Physically, it was fine. Emotionally, it is so heartbreaking. But my doctor said it means something wasn't right and this is nature's way of handling it, which helped a little to hear. It still sucks.
Forgot to say- I did get blood work done when I had my chemicals, to see if my levels were returning to zero, which they did. At home, I kept POAS and saw the lines getting lighter and lighter, just to confirm it for myself.

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - SECOND UPDATE!
Yesterday after I posted about bleeding, the bleeding and the cramping stopped (around 10:30AM). It turned to brown spotting only when I wiped and then within an hour completely went away. I decided to test again on an FRER and got a positive - definitely darker than the day before (this was at 5PM after holding my urine for about 4 hours). Since the line was clearly darker than the day prior, I decided to test on a digital this morning with FMU to confirm. But the digital was negative this morning
I'm completely confused now. My LMP was August 14th. I Ovulated somewhere between August 1 and August 3rd (it was hard for me to tell because I had bad O cramps all 3 days). I was fairly certain that I O'ed on the 1st (which would put me at 16 DPO right now), but even if I was wrong and O'ed on the 3rd, I would be 14 DPO today. Wouldn't a digital be able to pick up a positive result by now?
I'm probably test crazy right now, but I just don't understand what's going on. And my "symptoms" are so different than my first pregnancy with DS. My boobs aren't sore AT ALL, I have no smell aversions, etc. If it weren't for the positive tests I wouldn't even believe I was pregnant.

Did you take a digital test yet?

I took a digital this morning with FMU and it was negative.

So strange. If you really are 16DPO I would think it would detect it on a digital now. I would see a dr. and have blood work done to find out for sure

I agree with the PP. I think you should call your doctor and get bloodwork to see what your HCG levels are, and then repeat in two days to see if it is going up or down.

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - SECOND UPDATE!
Thanks ladies. I called my OB and made an appointment for blood work. The earliest they could get me in was Monday, but it makes me feel better knowing I have the appointment.
The nurse I spoke to didn't seem concerned at all that I wasnt getting a positive on the digital. She said based on my last menstrual cycle its likely that its too soon to read on a digital Kind of confused, but I'll go with it for now.

I'm sure there are plenty of women that never got a positive on the digital but were in fact pregnant. Good luck!!

Good luck! Would they be willing to write you a script for bloodwork so you can just go to a lab? Four days is a long wait...

I did ask them this over the phone but she said the doctor wants to see me in the office first and then he'll write me a script to get blood work that same day.
Unfortunately, I'm leaving for Lake George tomorrow morning for my SIL's wedding and wont be back until Sunday, so it was either today (which they were totally booked anyway) or Monday. I'm super nervous, but I'll continue taking FRER tests this weekend to see if the line gets any darker or lighter until I can get in to see them on Monday.
I'm just praying this sticks

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - SECOND UPDATE!
my last IUI i tested positive 10 days post trigger. I had tested out the shot and had 2 days of negative tests. Then the next morning I woke up bleeding and cramping. I had a ruptured cyst. It was either the last of the HCG shot coming up even though I dont know why if I had negative tests prior, or the cyst releasing beta HCG.
I hope you are feeling better and get some answers.

Re: Is it possible to implant at 13 DPO? - SECOND UPDATE!
Thanks so much for your support and prayers this weekend! I continued to take the FRER tests this weekend and the line continued to get darker. On Friday evening a digital test finally confirmed it. But to be safe, I still took 2 more tests on Saturday and Sunday. By Saturday afternoon the line was almost as dark as the control line
