Is it really better to test in the am?
Because I heard if you wait 4 hours inbetween potty breaks it's like the same thing..any truth?

With a PG test, as long as you are late, it should detect the pregnancy hormone at anytime. There are some women that never test + on a PG test though

only because HCg levels are highest when you "hold the pee" the longest. Ie: when you sleeep 6-8 hours.

4 hours is fine. However, make sure you didn't drink ANYTHING so that the urine isn't diluted.
