Is it safe to eat mayo?
I hear you shouldn't because it's made with raw eggs yet several pg women I work with eat it and say it's safe. I have been craving macaroni salad since the beginning of my pregnancy and for the first time gave in, I couldn't take it anymore.

Yeah, I eat it on sandwiches all the time, my Dr never said anything about it....I wouldn't worry.

Yes it's fine. The only concern would be if someone made fresh mayo, but I'm sure almost any mayo you're going to eat is going to be from a jar.

Ladies, wish I would have known about this before hand because I would have had it so long ago but so happy to hear about this now. After the terrible day I had you made it and I'm going to get me a pound of macaroni salad!

The PP who mentioned the homemade one is right.... that's the one that you are restricted from eating to my knowledge. That recipe calls for raw eggs.
But the ones which are sold in the store are pasteurized, so u are safe!

I would totally eat mayo soup if I could. j/k! I love mayo. I couldn't live without it, so I have been eating it since the begining of my pregnancy. ENJOY!
