Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
Im sorry if this sounds silly, but I just still dont believe that I AM PREGNANT!!!
I find it so surreal right now I guess because it was my 1st round of clomid and NEVER thought it would happen so fast
anyone else feel like this??
when i say denial, i dont mean that i dont want to be!!! This was a prayed for, planned pregnancy!!!

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
Its so exciting isn't it?!! YAY! Even at 30 weeks for me, it doesn't feel real, but when you can't sleep on your belly, your clothes don't fit or your just plain miserable - it feels all real. Good luck and enjoy every min of it!

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
I totally know how you feel. I am almost 16 weeks and still don't believe it. Every time I pee, I check to see if I have my period. I probably won't believe it until the little goblin comes out!

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
It is very surreal in the begining. With DD#1 I don't think it really hit me until I stared to feel her move.

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
I feel this way because I don't feel like I have all the symptoms..not that I want most of them ...but it is just so hard to believe because I can't see or feel the baby yet. I even think I am gonna take another test today, even though I took two and they said pregnant.....I'm neurotic..... I am so excited though

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
Being I had an unplanned pregnancy - that we saw as a blessing and pleasant surprise - I honestly didn't believe I was pregnant till the contractions started. I had such an easy pregnancy, and just kept living my life as if everything was "normal" that it didn't really hit me till I was going to deliver. That's when I looked at my BF and said "OH MY G-D... WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!" We still laugh about that. ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF YOUR PREGNANCIES LADIES!!! You are all blessed!!!!

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
I completely felt the same way early on!!!! Even looking at my 1st sonopic, with the little bean floating around, arms akimbo, it seemed like someone else's pic!!
Don't worry, it will start feeling VERY real (in a great way) in a few short weeks!!! Growing belly, buying maternity clothes, those next few sonos, your DH getting all mushy over , and then, Ta-DA: the first movements!!!!!
Its a lot of fun and i am constantly amazed at what's happening inside

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
I know the feeling. This time we got preggo the first time trying. At first it didn't seem real. I know how it can feel that way in the beginning, especially when you don't have any symptoms or a belly yet.

I feel the same way. Even though I have symptoms, it doesn't seem real yet. I also didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly. It kind of feels like a dream.

Re: Is it shock? denial? disbelief?
Yeah, I still don't totally believe it, either. And I've had my first sono and seen and heard the heartbeat! But I chalked that off to "Oh, that must just be MY heartbeat they're picking up"!
