Is it tacky to...
ask the seller if they will be leaving any furniture in the house?? There was a china cabinet and a table that absolutely loved in the house we are purchasing.....
how can I go about asking that??

Not at all!
A lot of sellers wish they didn't have to take EVERYTHING. The less to move... the easier for them!
Gives them an excuse to "upgrade".

We asked the sellers agent if we could have the kitchen table and chairs, living room tables and the entertainment center - and he said that he didnt see a problem with it because the sellers would probably throw out most of the furniture anyway....
Just make sure you put it into the contract. Scott

Not at all. We love the sellers stuff so much that we told them and they said that they would sell us some stuff.

cool!! The seller is an older gentleman, he may not want to take all his stuff, but then again, his children will probably have first dibs on the furnitures. I just love the china cabinet and a side table, it goes so well with the house!
another question... appraisers, are we responsible for getting one or the bank is going to send someone??
