Is it true what they say about us "fuller" moms...
BTDT "healthier" pregnant ladies....Is it true that our stomach don't really get hard and start looking pregnant until week 20+? Also is it true that we won't feel the baby until 20+ weeks? I'm only in my 15th week but I'm counting the days for both of these things to happen.

I felt DD at 9 weeks. I felt DS at 15 weeks. I did not get a prego belly until 26 weeks for either child.

Thanks ladies...I guess I have to deal with the weight gain with no signs of a baby belly and hopefully I'm semi close to feeling the baby

Re: Is it true what they say about us "fuller" moms...
I'm not very "full" but I started out about 15-20 pounds heavier then I was "supposed" to be when I got pregnant.
I am 19 weeks and can feel little flutters here and there - when I sit at work usually.
My belly is getting harder, but there's still some "fluff" on top of it. I have lost 4lbs since my first OB appt. & DH says he can't really tell a difference in my belly - but I can.

I was 35lbs overweight before getting pg. I felt the baby at around 18 weeks, and I had an obvious bump at 25 weeks, pic bellow is from 24 weeks, my belly is rock hard now

I didn't get a "harder" belly until about the 25 week point. I also didn't start feeling the baby move until around 24 weeks. Everyone's different!

Re: Is it true what they say about us "fuller" moms...
With my first pregnancy, I didn't feel the baby for a WHILE. With this one, I felt him at 15 weeks. Your husband probably won't be able to feel him from the outside until after 20+ weeks.
It is true that most people will assume you are getting fatter, not pregnant when they see you. You will have to tell people because they don't want to just assume when you could be just gaining weight.
