i think the media is (misguidedly) trying to be PC about this. socially speaking, this person is a man, but biologically speaking, she is a woman.
not saying i agree, i just think the media is being waaaaaaay too politically correct here.

If it were a man who had male reproductive organs, I would be impressed.
It's a woman. Regardless what he was changed into, what he is NOW...he sitll has ovaries and a uterus and can carry a child.
I'm curious as to how all the hormones are going to affect the baby.

I don't get it 
I agree though- the media is making a huge deal out of nothing.
If it was a masculine lesbian who was pregnant, no one would say a word.

Im pretty sure s/he stopped his/her hormones and allowed him/herself to ovulate and get a period. Not sure if that is possible if a person is taking male hormones but then again I am not a doctor.

I can't remember the exact words "he" used but the hormones he was taking did give him a small penis (his words) - he said he could have intercourse with his wife. They went it to how when we are all conceived our sex organs are all the same, and how women parts are really like a penis, but internal.
This whole thing has been totally blown out of proportion by the media. He's a woman living as a man, but at the end of the day the key is that "he" is a woman.

The whole thing is ridiculous. It's not a man. That person has the genetic code of a woman. It just took lots of crazy testosterone and grew a beard, muscles and a penis.

I also didn't find it weird. To me it was a transexual who kept her uterus. So in reality she is a woman.

They seemed like a very sweet, loving couple who wanted a child. I was pretty impressed by how "normal" they seemed. I'm happy for them.
