I called my hospital today to get dates for classes. The only times I can take the childbirth/lamaze class is if I take it between 25-29 weeks (which I feel is prob a little early, it's a 4 week class)...OR...on a Saturday that I already have my babymoon planned.
It's either that or I take it right at the tail end of my pregnancy...the last class I would be 38.5 weeks. The lady on the phone said that might be cutting it close.
So...anyone take it at a hospital other than where you are delivering? Is it uncommon? Do you think there would be any downsides to that, or might it not make a difference? OR do you think any of these time frames are fine to take it at my hospital?

I dont think it's weird to do it at another hospital.
We had a couple in our Lamaze class that was delivering somewhere else. They just skipped over the class where we went on the hospital tour

It doesn't make any difference where you take it. I didn't even take mine at any hospital. It was at a random office where the woman worked out of.
