Is it worth it to go to the JC Penney in Lake Grove?
We're thinking of buying living room furniture from JC Penney but, as other people have mentioned, the delivery charges are insane. I know that the stores dont always carry the online stuff - but is the Lake Grove store worth the trek?
It would be about 30 miles from our apartment. I dont think there is a JC Penney "Home" store any closer.

funny...someone just told me about this location, I never knew it exsisted....I heard they had beautiful stuff, so I m gonna go chreck it out, BUT...Im not 30 miles away!
mmmm, i dont know if Id do it, unless youre bored & have some extra time to take the drive out!

I bought my bedroom furniture there, but I don't remember them having an over abundance of living room furniture. Some, but not a lot.

The Homestore carries a bit of everything, and the staff their is always very willing to help you find what you need at the best price.

I love this store, I have bought so much furniture from here.
I have gotten great deals by buying floor samples or discontinued items (but get new from warehouse)
I have had great experiences with all purchases. GOOD LUCK!

We registered there but didn't really look at their furniture. I don't remember them having a lot on display.
Why don't you call them up and ask what they have out, then decide if you want to make the drive.

I was just there last week. It's "ok". Not like a store that specifically does that as a biz.
But there is also a Macy's furniture store in the mall across the street. That's huge.
What I usually do is look online and then call the store to see if they have something in stock.
You could make it a trip and do a little mall shopping, and then have dinner at one of the restaurants!

I would say go and see what they have, there are a few other stores in the area you can look at as well ( in the mall they have Macys home furnature)
