Is it worth it to shop around for oil prices right now?
Just curious... Our contract is up with Petro next week. I dont know if I should just stay with them, or start comparing prices?
Its going to be double what we locked into last August. Its so frustrating!!

Our burner is from the stone age and we just dont have the $$ to replace it right now. I need a contract and balanced billing.

shop around and see what prices you get. if your current company gives you the best price then stick with it.

We just locked in with Meenan. I think DH called two places and they were cheaper.

We just locked in with Petro. I called around and they were pretty much the same. Overall, I found that Petro was the best on the phone. Meaning, they explained things well, were polite, pleasant and just plain nice to talk to. The other companies acted like they were just trying to swindle me into going with them.

I locked in witrh Petro in May, for 3 years. 5.47 CAP, if it goes lower we get the lower price.
