Is it worth it to take off shower glass doors?
Up until this point ( almost 17mos. ) DD has still been bathing in kitchen sink, she fits fine, but I want her to play, so I tried the tub last night and what a back breaker the toilet is near the faucet end of the tub.
we have glass doors, I don't even know if it is worth it to take off, If I need to be by the faucet - there isn't much room there anyway, I just can't picture doing this for the next 5 years!
Pls. help

We have glass shower doors & we did not take them off. Why would you take them off?

When we moved into our house it had shower doors, and after trying to bathe DS a handful of times, off they went. It was too hard to reach in there to wash him.

Re: Is it worth it to take off shower glass doors?
it is just hard to lean over the tracking, I know they sell the rubber covers for that , but then there would be no room for me and the toilet - it is pretty tight.
I will try it a few more times and make a decision.

Yes. We took ours off and it is sooo much easier to bathe him.

I believe it is one step ahead.com that has the rubber padding that goes over the track.

My DD has them in her bathroom and never took them off or even wanted to. I will not for DD#2 either. I think it's a personal preference. up to you. I don't have a probelm with bath time and the doors.

Re: Is it worth it to take off shower glass doors?
WE had the same situation here. The faucet was near the toilet, and with the shower doors half open, it was too hard. I felt like I had to be a contortionist (sp?). We took the shower doors down and put up a curtain and I love it so much better. Much easier, not to mention the bathroom looks prettier with the curtain.
ETA: we took it all down, even the tracking. So much easier!
