Is Memory Maker worth it?
Everything at Disney is expensive!
Yes - they take great pics and it's nice to have access to all of them

I agree. You pay enough for the trip, I want photos to look back on.

Re: Is Memory Maker worth it?
To me, no. We didn't get it but we did take pics at the spots with Disney photographers when we felt like it. The kids did lots of character meet and greets where we had Disney take pics also. Many of the pictures didn't turn out great (kids looking the wrong direction, not smiling, goofy faces, etc) and aren't anything that I'd want to actually print out. I had a hard enough time making everyone (mainly DH) stop to take the pics that I wanted. I can't imagine feeling obligated to take pics at every spot because we were paying for them. I don't know if Memory Maker has any other perks that I'm missing?
We bought a few prints of 2 shots that we really liked and were able to share the album with friends/family online for 30 days. They also had the option to buy pics if they wanted, which my grandma did. Ordering pics from Disney isn't cheap but we didn't spend $150 either.
I also took tons of pics with my phone. You can always ask the Disney photogs to snap a picture with your camera or phone, they have no issue with it. For me personally, I just don't see the value of paying for Memory Maker but obviously there are many people who do.

I always get it and I'm always sorry. My pictures always come out better. Not doing it this time around.
If you want to be in the pictures it would be worth it. I would rather NOT be in them.

We don't get it b/c then you have to stop and take time to do them. If we do stop then we just have our band and it's all there for after. I don't I would ever spend that much in pics from one place. I get a few of mine printed from shutterfly after
