Is the Maclaren Triumph much better than the Volo?
I tried out my friend's Volo today and LOVED it. We are ready for a less bulky stroller for DD (2 y/o).
Now that I'm researching a bit, I see that the Triumph offers just a little bit more than the Volo (e.g. reclining seat) and is only about 3 lbs heavier. I found a good deal on a new Triumph on ebay ($130) and am wondering if I should get the Triumph over the Volo.
Any opinions? TIA!

def get the triumph.....when I was looking at light strollers, I felt that the Triumph was alot better than the Volo (although looking back I think I would've spent the extra $ and got the Quest....but I bought it when DS was 1 and the Triumph is fine for him now at almost 2 years old)

Thanks! Why do you think the Quest is better??? I can consider that, too!

Re: Is the Maclaren Triumph much better than the Volo?
I have a Quest which I have grown to love. It's more full featured...deep recline extentable leg rest etc. I bought it when DD was an infant. However at 2 years old it may be more stroller than you need.
I just ordered the $55 Volo off of ebay for DD. I think the Volo is a great stroller for older toddlers (2 and up) for mall trips, short trips, etc. DD rarely naps on outings anymore but if she did I would opt for the Quest.
The Triumph has a shorter seat then the Volo or the Quest so you may want to make sure your DD will be comfortable with that before purshasing.

Thanks for the info! I really did love the Volo I tried out today. As usual, I have to complicate things and consider other options. Maybe I'll just stick with the Volo!

I've had my triumph since my son. Its a great stroller, but I got the volo for my dd and absolutely love how lightweight and convenient it is. She never sleeps in her stroller anyway, but I think she is quite comfy in her volo.

Re: Is the Maclaren Triumph much better than the Volo?
I have a Volo and really like it---its super lightweight, DS likes riding in it and its easy to steer. I never even tried the Triumph, I was looking for something superlight weight and DS never sleeps in the stroller so we didn't need any recline. I also didn't want to spend any more than I had to as its a 2nd stroller. It has worked out great for us and I am very satisfied!
