Is there a growth spurt around 33/34 weeks?
 has been a little quiet the past couple of days and I'm wondering if she is going thru a growth spurt. I am in week 34 (33 weeks, 5 days).

I think my elephant went through a growth spurt recently too. I think it's all growth spurts from now until delivery.

So is that what it means when they are quiet? I'm 28 weeks and my hasn't moved in a day and a half besides the occasional little flutter.

Supposedly thats what it means. I mean, there have been periods of being really quiet- and thats what I was told- is that they are really quiet while they are going thru a growth spurt.
I know she's in there because I've felt her occassionally- just not as much as I have in the past couple of weeks!

True enough- since dont they gain at least a 1/2 pound a week?

Not sure about the week thing but for my whole pregnancy, when  is quiet for 2-3 days (which he has been today and yesterday) then my belly pops more.
