Is there a pediatrician to call for questions even if you are not a patient?

Is there a pediatrician to call for questions even if you are not a patient?
A friend is not happy with her pediatrician at all and she's looking for an office that she can call and speak to someone about an issue with her son. She has tried a couple of other pediatrician offices and they won't speak to her unless she is a patient. She wouldn't be able to bring the baby in to see someone until Monday. Does anyone know of any place that she can call between now and Monday to speak to someone?

My insurance has a number I can call and speak with a nurse. They ask about symptoms and give guidance on what to do.

I was just going to say the same thing. Also, maybe she could call the peds department of the hospital the baby was born in. I know there is a chief there that could probably help

There's also a walk in pediatrician clinic in syosset. Right off the Seaford Oyster Bay. I've never been there myself but if she's looking for an answer that would be easier then sitting in an ER.
