Is there a way to opt-out of credit card offers?

We have to get like 10 a week. It's such a waste and I hate the junk mail. Is there a way to opt-out of them mailing things to us?

I would love to know the answer for this too!

Unfortunately, my gut tells me you would have to contact every issuer - and since many different banks issue mastercard and visa, it could be endless......

Hopefully someone knows the real answer?

Yes - you can opt out of unsolicited credit cards offers. I just read about this I think in Readers Digest. There was a phone number to call. I've been trying to find the article again so I could opt out myself -- and will post if I find it.

See, I would do that, but the fact that I have to mail someone my full name, address and SS#... I would rather be receiving their stupid mail. I think that's what they are counting on too!Chat Icon Chat Icon
