basically, if it's a chain, there are coupons out there so i really try to find a coupon code or a physical coupon before i go. there are a lot of Apps for the Itouch/Iphone that help you locate coupon codes.

man if TJs and Marshalls had coupons now that would be the best! Loooong time ago they had a promo called Magic and Marshalls gave you like $10 for every $100 you spent.
That was the best!
If you sign up for the TJX rewards credit card you get $10 coupons for every $200 you spend at T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods or AJWright.
I finally signed up because I'm always shopping in these places...totally worth it for me...
