Is there anyone who has black granite that really loves it?
Because I have hated mine since about an hour after it was installed and 3 1/2 years later I still hate it. It shows every damn droplet of water, smudge, finger print, elbow print, every single thing. I live with the spray bottle in my hand. It doesn't help that I have 3 small kids but even without their contribution, it is just the biggest hassle. I never feel like my counters look remotely clean when they are in use. Sure, right after I clean it, but if I even breathe on it, it looks dirty again. I honestly wish I could rip it out and put formica in bc I'm not spending that much on a counter again.
So how do I make peace with it? Anyone with black granite care to give advice or hints on what you do?

My MIL has black granite and she too lives with a spray bottle in her hand.

My cousin does, but her kids are older and out of the house and she and her husband work full time so they aren't using their kitchen that much in a day.

I have black nero and I don't have kids or a high traffic home and I love it!
My kitchen is a smaller apartment galley so I don't have the same complaints.

I have Black Galaxy and I love it, I also have a glass top on my wood table so I guess I'm a glutton for punishment
Actually, I'm a bit OCD about the counters so it doesn't bother me. My FIL always recommends people who have kids/are in their kitchen a lot get a busier granite pattern.
My MIL's granite is about three shades of beige/brown with beautiful long swirls of dark red (she has off-white cabinets)... I always joke that you could drop an upside down pizza on it and not be able to tell
