Is there anywhere on LI that DS can ride on a little train?
He's 21 months and obsessed with trains. I mean I guess I could ride the LIRR with him one day  but I was wondering if there's any like mini train things around. TIA.

There's a train at the Source Mall and also one at White Post Farms.

DS loves the one at white post farms (although it can be an expensive day just for the train) and at the source mall. WPF actually also has a wood train that doesn't move but he can climb around. I also saw one on the main level of Roosevelt Field, below the food court. We haven't gone on that.

I was going to suggest the malls too - LOL! There is that one in RF outside of Express.
But I think we are going to try to take O to LI Steamers this fall. We should plan a day!

The Long Island Gamefarm!! they let my DS ride with me and he is only 9 months! it's a small train

Ohhhhh awesome you guys, thanks. DH is off next week and we were planning to go to WPF for the petting zoo, I'm so excited there's a train there too!
Kristin let's definitely plan a day to LI Steamers too!
