Is this a bad sign?

I O'd on Tuesday, went in today for a progesterone bloodwork and they just called telling me they want me to come back Monday am for another progesterone bloodwork and a sono. The nurse I spoke to told me my progesterone count was 1.5 which is SUPER low. Can I basically assume that this month didn't work given how low my number is? Last month my progesterone was a 6 and I wasn't pregnant...I feel like I just got punched in the gut.

You aren't even a week out from ovulation. Implantation hasn't even occurred. You're not out yet. Why did they bring you in so early? Did you have an IUI or natural cycle?

are you sure you ovulated? the level is low for post ovulation, it really has nothing to do with being pregnant or not. 1.5 is borderline that you even ovulated. if its that low on your next count you may not have Oed. im assuming they only brought you in for bloodwork to confirm ovulation to begin with. if you did a medicated cycle and you KNOW you ovulated they can put you on crinone or suppositories cause you will def need supplementation.

Hi girls...Thank you both for responding. You definitely made me feel better to know that it isn't a total wash this month. Just to give a little back history...I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am on 1500mg of metformin and I just did my 2nd cycle with Clomid (100mg) which I started on cycle day 5. The RE said they saw one mature follicle on the left ovary which was last Saturday. Tuesday I got a peak smiley on the OPK. We BDd on Monday, Tuesday/Wednesday (it was late lol). I went into the RE on Wed for bloodwork and they told me that based on my numbers I definitely ovulated. Today I went in again for the progesterone test (which I thought was a little early...I figured it would be a week from when I got my +) and that was when they called today to say the levels were really low. They want me to come back in on Monday am to have a recheck on the progesterone, but didn't say if I should start the suppositories. I have the Crinone already from last month. I figured they would tell me if I should start it, but they didn't and honestly I was so upset by the number being so low I didn't ask. By the time I read your posts and thought about it it was too late to call today. I'm definitely going to call tomorrow am though. So now that you know this whole back history...Any further thoughts?
