Is this a casual dress or "dressy" dress?
I have a Friday afternoon, outdoors on the beach (Montauk) wedding to go to in the middle of May. I love this dress, but can't figure out if it's a causal maxi dress or a long "formal" dress. It looks on the more casual side to me, but the websites I've seen it on list it as a formal dress. What do you think? Is it too dressy for a beach wedding?

The material looks a little more dressy to me. I think it would be great to wear to a beach wedding.

That seems much more dressy than casual to me - I mean I wouldn't put that on to go to the grocery store unless I had somewhere else to be afterwards.

It's beautiful and definitely not TOO dressy.
If you stick to simple hair/makeup/jewelry it will look perfect.

I just went to order from Nordstrom it and it's back ordered until late June! and I can't find it anywhere else

Did you try contacting Modcloth? They were really good- they told me when they were getting more in and when that didn't help the brand name and style name given by that brand so I could try searching for it elsewhere. I'd also put a notification on it so if someone happens to return one in your size, they'll send you an e-mail.

Did you try contacting Modcloth? I know the brand name and style because Nordstroms has it as well (its just back ordered til June. I called them and they said they can't get it sooner). I've searched the entire internet for it lol! But, thanks, I will try calling Modcloth - and yes, I did put a notification on it at Modcloth, so maybe there is a slight chance of getting it before I need it in May.

Thanks. I just looked on their website and the only 2 that I saw that were similar (but light blue-ish) were $368 and $528 - very pretty, but way more than I'd like to spend. And of course the one I really like of those 2 is the +$500 one
