is this a good price for daycare? ETA with 2nd question
$275/part time (3 days a week)
$315/full time (4-5 days a week)
just looking for some feedback TIA!!
ETA:
do you think it's worth it to get him started in this daycare (i need something fast b/c my nanny is getting a new job soon) and then if i find something cheaper, move him?
or would that be too much for him to handle? he's never been in day care before.

Depends on where you live and the hours. Seems on the high side to me.

Re: is this a good price for daycare?
I pay $168 for 2 days a week (8-6pm) and I used to pay $316 for 5 days (6:30am-7pm).
I think the part time seems a little high unless you are paying for extended hours. The FT price seems average to me.

LB - Luca jsut turned one, right?
Here are the rates if he were to come into my center today:
6wks - 18 months
5 day FT $309/week 3 day FT $258/week 2 day FT $206/week
That seems more in line with what you got.

they don't charge extra for extended hours - it's included in the price.
plus there is a $150 registration fee.

yeah, that's a lot closer.
it does go down a lot at 18 months and i'll be getting 10% off his rate then too b/c DC#2 will be going to daycare.

Depends on where you live and the hours. Seems on the high side to me.
Nassau, the hours are 6:30am to 7pm every day. no extra fee to drop off/pick up during any of those times.

That's not too bad then. Will you actually use those hours though? If not, I would look for less expensive options unless you really like the place and can afford it.

You don't have to pay an extra fee? I am jealous! I pay $87/month for early drop off and $65/month for late pickup -same hours you have! So then your deal is great!!!

I think that's a good price.
I pay $300/week for a 4 month old with the same hours - 6:30am-7pm are the standard hours.

Re: is this a good price for daycare? ETA with 2nd question
Depends on the hours. Is that extented hours?
We used to pay $300/week for DS as an infant. But their hours were extended vs other daycares. 6:30am-7pm.
It does make a huge difference.
Most "cheaper" daycare prices were until 5:00pm or 5:30pm (8 hour daycare!). We would have to add another $50 per week for the extra hours of coverage we needed.
The part time prices were only $25 cheaper. They usually charge almost the same to deter you from doing it.
ETA: Just read it was the extended hours... then it's the regular price for it.
