4 year lease
15K/yr mileage
Volvo S40
Fully loaded, leather, etc
Oil Chages
Title, taxes, etc.
$390, no down payment.
(Mind you I am not in NY)

we've never leased a "car" only SUVs.
We want a car
Don't have to put any money down
Want to keep it under $400/mo

Most cars manufacturer's warranty is only good for 36 months. I would hate to have to worry about what if god forbid something happened to it.

The numbers look good but I agree about the lease being too long. I wouldn't do a lease for more than 3 years.

I agree with the others about the 4 year term. I would look into a 3 year lease and see what they payments would be.

I absolutely will!!!! I never thought about the warranty expiring before the lease. We just thought 4 years would be perfect and time for a better upgrade at that time too.

I get tired of cars before 3 years so personally I would never lease longer than 36 months. I had a 39 month lease on my Pathfinder and I can't wait to get rid of it.

Actually, I don't think it's such a great deal.
My mom has the Volvo S40 and has a 36 or 39 month lease (can't remember), 12k miles/yr, fully loaded, no money down and got it for $340/month. But, she's had her car almost a year now.
And I also agree with the pp, i'd try to do a 36 month lease.

I think it sounds okay! I wouldn't lease for 4 years either. I have a 36 month lease on a car about the same price as the S40. I also have 15k miles, and pay $339 a month, but I put 3k down.
What model S40 is it?
