is this a sufficient gift for my assiatant?
I have my own small dance school. This year I have a couple of large classes so I hired this girl as my assistant for 2.5 hours a week and $20 an hour. To be honest, she doesn't really "assist" much, but she is an extra body to help me keep an eye on the kids and so they can watch two of us do the steps. I do ALL of the teaching, choreography, and correcting of the kids. I bought her a $50 gift card to Bloomingdlaes. That's fine, right? It's the equivilent of one weeks pay.

That's such a nice gift. I don't think I have ever been given a $50 gift where I worked.
