Re: Push gift
i just asked the same thing here . i want more of a pregnancy necklace (something i can wear until i have the baby, then continue wearing afterwards) than a push gift, but i think we're looking for the same thing. i can't find anything out there either. there are a few on etsy that are nice, but not really what i want.

Re: Push gift
Honestly, I find the whole idea of a push gift kind of silly. I told my husband if he was thinking of anything (which I am sure he wasn't), that what I REALLY want is to have a personal trainer come to my house a couple of times a week to whip my fat azz back into shape!

Re: Push gift
This is what I want. Baby's initial will most likely be the same as DH's, so I want one with my initial and one with theirs.

I agree that it's silly--I shouldn't need any "payment" to carry DH's child. Even with all the back pain and horror I've endured, I don't expect anything in return. The baby is enough, IMO...and if DH really wants to spend money on something like that, I'd rather he put the money into her college fund.

Re: Push gift
I didn't get a push gift either but my son was born a month before Mother's Day so for Mother's Day I picked out a beautiful boy charm. The woman who makes them is named Rona K and they sell her charms at Fortunoff. They are expensive but beautiful. You could also have the back personalized at the store. Her website is ronakcorp.com.

Re: Push gift
I wouldn't necessarily consider it a "push present", but I asked DH for a white gold baby shoe charm for Xmas and after is born in January, we will take the charm to be engraved with his name and birthdate on the bottom of the shoe.

Re: Push gift
Hi Girls! After having in September, I'm telling EVERYONE to spring for the private room as your "push present"!!! It was but holy moly I'm so glad we did it (I had a "c" but even for a "V" it would be great). I think it was the BEST gift ever. A little privacy goes such a long way when you're trying to recover, sleep, figure out breastfeeding, and bond as a family!!!

Re: Push gift
I would never expect my DH to buy me a gift for carrying or delivering our child - SOME type of acknowledgement would be nice, flowers, my favorite bottle of wine - whatever. - But to TELL him, I want "X" as a push present .......?? I think it's kind of silly -

yea, I would assume my DH is going to bring me flowers & my Quinzos sub. That's good enough for me!

I think it's kind of silly - Mine asked. I never came out & asked for a gift. When I had G he bought be a very beautiful filigree Emerald slider as my mommy present. It has G's b-day engraved on the back. He did not want me to have to choose which child's present to wear & therefore did not want to get another pendant, so he asked what would I like. I saw the Tiffany amethyst (this DC's birthstone) and loved it. So I can wear both and not have to chose.

Re: Push gift
I don't agree with the "push present" concept. However, there is a good chance these babies will be born on or about my birthday. I did tell DH NOT to get me anything for my birthday though.
