Is this corney/lame for a fathers day gift?
I got DH a digital picture frame for his last birthday (last year). It is still in the box unopened
I asked him recently if he even wanted it and he said yes, that he just hasn't gotten around to it yet. $$$ is really tight around here right now, not to mention that DH basically has everything - AND- his birthday is in 2 weeks.
Do you think it would be cheesy to open it, download a bunch of Anthony pics for him so he can bring it to work? He says that his co-workers are always asking to see pics of the baby.
Please be honest - also please share any suggestions you may have Thanks!

Not corny at all, I think it's a great idea. Not all gifts have to cost $-- it's more the thought that counts! I'm sure he'll love it!

i think it is a great idea. I know my DH would totally be too lazy to have downloaded pics into the frame himself and would love if it was done for him!
Maybe include a couple of special pictures he hasn't seen before if you can manage to take them before Sunday?

I think that is a great idea. I still have one in the box from mothers day 08 and one from christmas 08. I really do love them but just haven't had the time to set them up - that would be an awesome "gift" IMO.

I think its a great and thoughtful idea. I would also take a pic of DC with a nice sign that says Happy Fathers Day 2009 and put that on the frame!

Anything that can save a person's time for them is a winner in my book !!!
I have 3 digital picture frames, 2 digital keychains and zero pics on them because I have NO TIME TO DO IT !!!
So I think its a great idea ( you can do mine too !!)

I think it's perfect, especially since that's what I'm doing for DH. I took a bunch of pictures of Samantha from birth until now, and then took a picture of her today with a Happy Father's Day sign and that will be the last picture on the slide show.
