Re: Is this normal?

Totally normal, you can burn a lot of calories at the gym. On days I work out I am always a lot more hungry that normal.

Re: Is this normal?

You should get stuff to make protein shakes when you get home from the gym. I buy frozen fruit since it works great in a blender and you dont need ice then. Get strawberries, blueberries, pineapple or whatever other fruit you like, maybe some oats, mix in the protein and some OJ or other juice. It is such a great snack that will fill you up and replenish your body. You can put other supplements in it that will help too, try GNC.

Re: Is this normal?

I think it's normal. When I do a big workout I feel like I can go eat a house so I try a lot of water.

Re: Is this normal?

quite on the contrary. An intense workout can reduce your appetite and make you eat a lot less food during the day. By working out you become more tuned into the needs of your body and you give it only what it needs when it needs it.

kind of a weird concept.. your not HUNGRY per-say... you body is in need of fuel (nutrients).... by providing exactly what it needs you can actually eat less and not feel hungry

Well last night I had a protein shake after working out. Wasn't hungry at all and felt great when I woke up.

Thanks :)

When I re-read my dh's food plan from the personal trainer it DOES say to have a protein shake after working out so I guess that is what I needed :)
