Is this normal? (TMI)
Is spotting normal at 5 weeks? Should I call the doctor?
(dark brownish in color / not heavy) almost like at the very end of a period

It might be. I would definitely call the doctor to make sure and put you at ease however. They may have you come in for a sono to make sure everything is OK, although at 5 weeks it is difficult to see anything.

It most likely is normal, but call the doctor with any bleeding or spotting.

just keep an eye on it.
its too early to do a sono, i had spotting around that time for a day and a half, then it went away. if it gets darker, heavier, or if there is any change, call the dr.

I'd call. But you can implantation bleeding at 4- 6 weeks. My doctor said they are only worried if its bright red blood accompanied by bad cramps.
