Is this OK? My DDs' dresses for their brother's christening...
The christening is next Saturday and truthfully, I don't feel like shopping for another dress for them--I had enough of a headache with HIS outfit already.
So, do you think it's OK for them to wear their Christmas dresses? They are dressy taffeta dresses and are identical except for the color--one is dark red and one dark green.

Absolutely!
I just decided yesterday that DD will be wearing the dress she wore to DS's christening for Easter. It's pink and brown otherwise it would have been her Christmas dress.

I don't see why not - they're dressy dresses. - Totally up to you what you dress your kids in - it's not like they're wearing jeans and t shirts !!

definitely. it gets to be too much to buy outfits for each function for children. they grow out of it so fast!!

I am the godmother in a christening on Sunday and I wish I had a Christmas dress I could wear, being the grown up stinks!
I think having the girls in their Christmas dresses would be the best and hey you get another use out of those gorgeous dresses!
