Is this typical behavior for a 4 month old???

Abigail began rolling both ways at 3 months old. Around that time she started trying to sit up. Now she's 4 months. She now rolls multiple times all around the room (remember the pic *under* the bouncy seat? Chat Icon ). Katherine used to do this before she crawled--at SEVEN or EIGHT months!

Since yesterday, she's been attempting to escape the bouncy seat and I've caught her dangling over the side more than once. Yeah, Katherine did this--at SEVEN months!

I also borrowed my sister's bumbo seat and she pushes herself so far forward trying to get out of that!

I feel like I can't leave her alone for a minute! Is/was your baby like this because my first wasn't! How do you cope?!? Chat Icon

my daughter is like this, she began rolling at 3 months and ever since then, I cannot contain her in any sort of bouncy seat or swing. (we actually just put her swing away in the attic). She is most happy on the floor rolling around or sitting up in her pack and play playing with her toys Chat Icon

sounds like you'll have an early crawler! Ainsley is a week shy of 5 months. She started rolling from belly to back at 3 months, but hasnt tried to get out of her bouncy seat at all yet. She cannot roll from back to belly yet, but she does try and sit up by herself and does that whole 'leaning forward as far as she can' behavior when she's on someone's lap. My daughter doesnt seem as active as your daughter - maybe your daughter wants to catch up to her big sister!

Yep! Steven was the same way! But then he rolled around for a while and started crawling I think around 6 months.
