Is tomato sauce ok to eat? (salmonella related)
I was going to make baked ziti tonight, and I have organic sauce in a jar, do I need to be concerned about salmonella?

even fresh tomatoes, once they are cooked well - are safe!

jar sauce and ketchup is not affected. neither are cooked tomatoes or cherry tomatoes. just raw tomato is a no no.
