Is your 1st child different from 2nd?
Reading the sleeping thru the night post I notice that it seems true that everyone says your 2nd is always different from the first..."my first slept like an angel but my 2nd woke every few hours" etc...
Do you notice that's true?

I feel the same exact way...you hear so many people say if they would of had their 2nd child 1st they would of never had their 2nd. That is why I am terrified of having another

I seriously would be fine with one because of this. I have the worst and I can't imagine if I could handle it...

Jack is a little high maintenance so I hope #2 is quiet and easy going.

Re: Is your 1st child different from 2nd?
Both my kids are fabulous! Emma didnt sleep through the night till she was 14 months but Jeremy did from day one. They are both very easy going kids.

In my case, yes. Still, both are very good children. Every child has there moments.

Re: Is your 1st child different from 2nd?
My first one was (and is) a great sleeper but was a colicky baby that had me on edge many times in the beginning. My second was (and still isnt) the best sleeper but was not colicky at all, yet she was a projectile vomitter. Both my kids are very active climbers from the beginning and "touchers" of everything. Both were early walkers but #1 was a super early talker. I can go on and on about their differences and similarities but they are definitely not opposites in every respect like some sibs. I dont know what is in store with #3....

Re: Is your 1st child different from 2nd?
I am soooooooo lucky, they both slept through the night at like 8 weeks. They are both angels - even though #2 gets hardly any attention bc I am always needing to entertain #1 (20 months). Good thing for the swing chair!!

Re: Is your 1st child different from 2nd?
Completely differnt, My 1st born is shy, my 2nd is outgoing. My 1st born was a horrible sleeper, my 2nd born was "pie"!!!! My 1st birn would never go anywhere without Mommy or Nana, while my 2nd born goes out with my girlfriend's alone all the time (they just come pick her up and she spends 1/2 the day with them. My friend just picked her up tp go to her MyGym class and she didn't even wave goodbye to me, she was just so excoted she ran into my gf's arms and jumped into her car. My 1st born til this day just wants to be home or out with me or my Mom (or hubby)
