Isnt it a kick in the butt...
that each cycle you only have a 15-20% chance of conceiving and once you get your BFP theres a 25-30% chance of miscarriage. I dont understand, isnt having a child suppose to be a miracle? Then why does it seem like the odds are against us?

That's exactly why they are a miracle.
As far as stats though.. I'm so over that.. My losses last year and this year were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO statistically RARE!! My first loss was from a condition some doctors have seen like a few times ever in their career.. and with my triplets, I had like a 1% chance of having a loss at all, and I lost all 3.
Soooooo these days, I just focus on what is, rather than compare my experiences.. because truthfully the only experience that matters is your own.

You're right Penny. You have been through so much that I cant even compare my experience to yours. Its just something that popped in my head. Its just frustrating to know the statistics I guess.

This is kinda why I felt like getting preggo right after miscarriage vs waiting. They say your most fertile. So the odds are in your favor. I hear countless stories of successful pregnancies the month after.

Re: Isnt it a kick in the butt...
I got pregnant with my first and it took us about 8 months, im nursing and we weren't techniquely trying, but not being careful either, we new we wanted more but figured it wouldn't happen right away, now after this loss we realize we want another one and arent wasting any time. Children are miracles, I just don't understand why some of us have harder times while others get pregnant after one night. No testing with opk, no tempt taking, no charting. I just dont get it.
But girls our time will come and make it even more precious because of what we've been thru
